Louder patterns, big collars on the shirts, thick notted and shorter ties - then we get to the 1980s with that bankers look back in style, double breasted suits, suspenders, cuff links, tighter cuts, normal length ties with more traditional nots - then we get to the 90s where it became a bit more dull and drab, with less flashy suits but more emphasis on creative (ugly) ties - which then led to that more drape look, which ended up being super baggy - which then progresses to the slim fit look and more expirmentation with brighter colors so this idea that we need to cosplay the 1940s, well, I think that completely fliea In the face of everything we know about style evolution
