This card has so many beautiful hues of yellow and orange that make it feel so regal and colorful and, considering it is an Amber Ink-type card, it pops even more
This can make the game more exciting and intense as players race to deal the final blow
The best and least janky is of course Dockside Extortionist to turn your opponents' Blood tokens into an obscene amount of Treasure tokens for yourself (as if Dockside needs help being a good card), but if you want to go deep then you can do ultra janky things like get max value out of Curious Herd, Ancient Runes, maybe don't even let them sac them with Karn, the Great Creator so the tokens keep piling up, or if they do then you get to draw cards off Viridian Revel
Blackmail does scale well with other discard more so than most and as such I have played it in Rack themed black decks before which want a heavy number of discard cards
Being able to blast a player out of the game like this is a quick path to victory, and Dragonspark Reactor offers just such an opportunity
[24] Hopeless Nightmare's efficient enters ability was meant to mark it as a signpost for the white-black bargain deck in Limited, but it was soon found to be very powerful in combination with cards that returned it to hand, especially cards like Nurturing Pixie and Fear of Isolation which normally would have used the bounce as a drawback
