Flesh sweet and astringent, white, crisp and juicy. Flowers mid May. Harvest late September. Mature trees tend to be large and spreading. Slow to crop but then reliable, heavy fruit. A Devon variety also planted in the Long Ashton orchards in the 1930s. Triploid.
