Chimes of Partch PWS Sacral acting from the inside outThis cheerful sounding wind chime is tuned to an uplifting pentatonic scale and named after American composer Harry Partch (1901 1974), who taught us that science and magic can harmonize in music. Probably in part because he grew up with Mandarin, Spanish and Native American songs, Partch felt restricted by the modern scale of western music. He forged a new style of music using principles of pure tuning, thereby expanding the musical possibilities.
