I came across this arrangement of bark on a tree

I set out to create an artwork of that subject matter

Just by adding some eyes and a hat The character made an appearance

I created a large room and window to framing the scene of a little row boat in a distant water course and a person trying to operate a telescope at the window

I used a photo which was  part of the background to "Hikers at a lookout" and added a photo of local cows
