A rare Anatolian Marble Violin Idol, Early Bronze Age, ca. 3000 - 2500 BCE Vessels - Glass Provenance: Acquired in Egypt byThis elegant amulet resembles various idols from the Neolithic or early Bronze Age that capture the graceful silhouette of a violin. Carved from a small piece of thin marble, its surface has been expertly hand polished to a smooth finish. The amulet features a semi circular body with short lateral arms and an elongated, stylized head devoid of facial features. At the center of the piece, is an inlaid circular bronze disk, serving as a focal point that
