It's in excellent shape, both cosmetically and mechanically. No line grooves. The original ebonite handle spins freely as it should. Gear teeth and dual pawls are in great shape with very sharp points. Frame has knurled edges. Original ribbed brass reel foot has been very neatly filed on one end but is dead straight.
