Two hands known as Hamsa are illustrated in this Hanukkia. The hamsa is supposed to protect you from the evil eye, and the text written in hebrew, above: Shalom = Peace. The base part of the Hanukkiah features the words NES = Miracle and Gadol = Big. This is referring to the miracle of Hanukkah of course.
