Adelbert Steiner Steiner, its sad to say, isn't very good in Magic, as a small life linker with a situational and weak growing ability that leaves it otherwise available to die to 1/1s
After all, your opponents start with a collective 120 life thats a lot of attacks
White aggro strategies are usually less viable in formats with multiple opponents and a higher starting life total, but Delney enables a steady stream of value to keep boards wide and attacks frequent, and given their synergy with the recently printed Hare Apparent, brewers are sure to build decks around Delney for years to come
This means that this card can produce absolutely absurd amounts of mana in the right pod, allowing you to drop some mana-intensive monsters onto the board well above curve
That way you can gas up their decks, let them see what its like to pull off explosive plays later in the game, and theyll likely have a lot more fun than if they are totally mana screwed in their first game
