The back splat is mahogany while the rest looks like oak. Wonderful carved and pierced back splat and eye catching corner scrolls at the top. Splayed back legs and squared front legs with chamfered corners. Peg jointed legs united by 'H'stretchers. Very sturdy in structure, with no loose joints and free from woodworm. Very clean underneath showing old large screws with
