Cask No. 24.189 NAS Sweet as the cup ofThere was an initial robustness to the nose, led by trail mix, salted almonds, walnut bread and mums homemade malt loaf, still warm from the oven. As it developed in the glass sweetness took over, with deep layers of treacle tart, chantilly cream and sweet cinnamon swirls. On the palate, we drifted into clouds of marshmallows and sherbet, with playful notes of aniseed balls and the comfort of a hot malty drink. A splash of water had us all intrigued,
