3/8 Inch X 2-1/2 Inch Plain Spring Steel Split Spring Pin 4-1/2" x 5-1/4" Filter LensA spring pin is a hollow split dowel pin that exerts uniform outward pressure when fitted into a nut or shaft hole. Also called a roll pin the spring pin withstands side loads and rotational friction making it ideal for securing shaft and axle connections. Spring pins are also easy to insert and remove. For higher load applications where vibration and shocks are a problem use a coiled spring pin.
