I chose a view that leads you in from the Poolbeg lighthouse and the North Bull Lighthouse into town and up the River Liffey. With this watercolour technique there is an element of uncertainty which I like as paint falls, splashes and mixes on the page. Initially I had to come up with a composition that included a two mile long scene
