Tillandsia lorentziana Tillandsia juncifolia mounted on Drift wood tectorum with extra fine trichomesTillandsia lorentziana grows epiphytically often on Cacti, or saxicolously (on rocks) in Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. It is has soft silver leaves, covered with fine, fur like trichomes. The flower spike is quite long and a lovely cherry red, and the flowers are white. It is easy to grow in high light levels with regular misting and good air movement. On offer are singles and small clumps.
