Tillandsia Stellifera Tillandsia secunda Tillandsia straminea from Peru andTillandsia stellifera is a rare species from Peru where it grows into clumps on Cliffs and rock faces. It has lovely, short, spirally arranged leaves that are covered in silver trichomes giving the plant a similar appearance to T. tectorum. The flower spike is short with pink bracts and light purple lilac flowers. It is easy to grow in similar conditions to T. tectorum with high light levels, regular 'light' misting and good air movement quick drying.
