Entirely hand stitched throughout, it has been finished around the hems and sleeve edges with narrow rows of ruffles. It has full pagoda sleeves and the pretty back slits allowed it to be worn with the fashionably full skirts of the day. Inside the upper bodice back is lined in polished chintz, the rest has been lined in cream silk. Measurements: chest.
