Traditional Indonesian Batik skirt Cloth Sarong: first half C20th Java summer wedding dating from the 1939s itDating form the first half of the 20th century and hand made in Java, Indonesia, a traditional skirt cloth which would have been worn as a sarong. This batik skirt cloth is worked in muted tones of the earth using natural dyes with a lovely madder red border. The panel has a traditional all over diagonal design which runs the length of the piece, interspersed with finely hand drawn floral motifs. These batiks look lovely when hung in an interior and
