A unique museum worthy traditionaly hand embroidered bag dating from the 19th century finely hand worked in silks and wools onto a hand woven linen ground. We believe the narrow embroidered strips that the bag has been made from were taken from earlier, possibly 18th century, traditional borders which have then been reworked into this bag.
