A fine, traditional hand embroidered Abochini wedding shawl from Hyderabad, Pakistan. Dating from the late 19th, early 20th century, with a yellow silk ground and ruby red silk hand embroidery. A beautiful example, museum quality. Measurements: 192 x 123cm Condition. In excellent antique condition with an overall patina of age, some minor historic mends and a light, supportive underlayer added at a later date.
