A nice example of this extremely scarce watermark variety

so some consider these "Kingdom" issues to be "local"

A superb unused example, with original gum, of this very rare stamp that was prepared for use but not issued lettered SC, thought to be one of only seven examples in private hands. Plates 1 and 2 were put to press on 5 April 1893, but the registration sheets, nearly all of the printed sheets, and the plates were destroyed as they were considered far below De La Rue's printing standards.
