These are my 25 favorite Magic cards of 2025, a deeply subjective tour through the cards that stuck with me the most, whether because they weaponized the nostalgia I have for Final Fantasy games or because I was struck by their awe-inspiring power and compelling mechanics
Due to some difficulties getting our accounts set up, we were not able to get online for a few days after the beta launched, but I suspect that that was due to the massive amount of traffic the site experienced when they first opened the gates, as everything has been smooth sailing since, with the exception of some scheduled maintenance
Its hard to beat the value and mana this card produces

I like Pharikas Cure against Mono-Blue Devotion as well, and I considered bringing in Drown in Sorrow on the play as well, since it can trade one for one with a Master of Waves I figured it might be worth it (although I did not go that route, ultimately.) In particular, the Boss Sligh deck which is both cheap and effective and scary to play against, was on my mind after my finals loss in Columbus
