It made it difficult for decks that wanted to specifically combat mono-red to attack it appropriately, since Nemesis would roadblock actual combat, or even lifegain strategies that should be good against it

In general, Ive preferred the aggro strategies in Pioneer, as the format is both varied in archetypes and fairly tempo-orientated, so I like these mono-colored aggro decks that can curve out well and doesnt stumble on its manabase too often
