Theyre most commonly used for casual play, playtesting, and formats like Commander or Cubeespecially when you want to try a deck before buying expensive cards (or when youd rather not shuffle your rent payment)
A source of reanimation right in the command zone makes the deck far more consistent, something that reanimation decks can struggle with since the core combo often requires three cards: a card worth reanimating, a way to put it in the graveyard, and a means of getting it back
The mana advantage from that point forward is virtually identical to the real thing
Note that this logo is the mythic-rare-colored version on all these cards and is independent of the card's actual rarity
