How to Spot a Chase Card When opening packs, look for: Shiny surfaces foils and rainbow refractors Serial numbers indicating print run rarity Signatures or relics on-card autographs or jersey pieces Different colours or designs parallels or special inserts If it looks different and special, its likely worth a closer look
Some forces have pushed constructed Magic towards greater consistency, including, but not limited to, the mulligan rules (and especially the London mulligan), the massively expanded card pool with many functional variants or copies of existing cards, and the greater efficiency of deck manipulation (especially with the advent of cantrips and fetchlands)
