Magics had legendary artists like: Rebecca Guay (makes everything look like a fairytale) Seb McKinnon (has a unique and alternative style) John Avon (basically the godfather of cool lands) How to flex your art cred: Hunt down signed copies (bonus points if you get the signature in gold sharpie) Complete an artists entire portfolio (good luck finding all those early John Avon cards now that hes retiring) Obsess over alternate arts (Secret Lairs were made for you) Pro Move: Frame your favorites
Like the show, however, the cards needed some heavy censorship in order to be released
Inverter and U/W Control decks were already sort of in the market for cycling lands, and adding triomes can give the marginal upside of being able to Explosives for three, while also allowing those decks to up their land count to stick their otherwise inconsistent colors (something they cant do currently due to need for answer density) Thopter/Sword combo and Urza may not exist in Pioneer, which greatly suppresses the cards power, but it could help decks like Ensoul Artifact get back on stable footing
Some product lines offer higher quality or more features than others, but any of these products can help a player get their collection organized, and make the collection easier to store and transport, too
