While the first-ever Iconic cards are, understandably, fetching sizeable fees, plenty of the other "Enchanted" cards are also reaching hundreds of dollars already, and are definitely worth chasing as well
A combination of factors led to this card holding such a lofty price tag: this card features the unique crystal type ability, which alters its typing based on the energy attached to it, it features the unusual and divisive e-Reader card format, and it is from a set that was severely under-printed making it one of the most valuable sets of all time
The card cannot be targeted or affected by card effects, which means battle is the only way to get over it
I think it is a fair card for green to have given the ubiquity of good counterspells in Modern
