A 2/4 is pretty mediocre for four mana in this day and age, and its ability seems very non-tricky because it is always face-up on the table
It costs the same, deals more damage, and has a larger base stat line at all times
Even if this card's value is likely to fall once it leaves the competitive rotation, you can expect the lore behind its reign to remain, and might even contribute to a sustained long-term price
One thing that Extinction Event has going for it is that it doesnt destroy, but rather exiles, which is very nice to see
Having been around since the very first games and the original Base Set expansion, Charizard has always been a fan favorite a status that has directly translated to card popularity
However, they tend to have poor synergy with the rest of the deck, and none are recommended
