From a lore perspective, while Magic has Rakshasa of its own, it's cool to see a classic Dungeons & Dragons version, complete with the creepy backwards hands they're famous for.
I love cards like this, mainly because theyre fun, but look at this as a wildcard land in your deck that has you pay three mana to put it into play (which effectively ramps in mono-blue!) and can be a second copy of your best lands or someone elses
You probably want Sram, Senior Edificer around if youre playing Balan, but which equipment are you going to run
It seems I only own three, so rounding out my playset with the fourth would be nice
