For just three mana, you can effectively Murder an opposing creature while drawing a card, gaining you both board control and card advantage

We both created White/Black decks out of only common cards for the event, and you could tell we were both going for the same idea

We are making two decks for Commander Legends as well, and at one point we had a playtest with the two Commander Legends decks and the two Zendikar Rising decks all playing against one another

It costs one more mana than Heros Downfall but will take out 98% of the things that spell will while also giving you scry 2, which is close in power level to drawing a card
