The idea that its bad to try too hard at Commander or that its somehow more noble or fun to play jank is understandable, but misguided
But whereas last years set was fairly standard in format, Battle for Baldurs Gate has been designed to complement the Commander format - players can draft cards from boosters to build weeny Commander decks and face off on four-way battles, or use them in full 100-card singleton decks
Tokens Matter Id like to have more cards that care about tokens in the deck, but Im pretty happy with these, particularly these two new gems from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldurs Gate
