In my three decades of playing Magic , I've literally never been a mono-Red player, but I respect the archetype for the same reason I respect speed-running video games or Formula 1--it's not how I like to engage with my hobbies, but I have to respect anyone who strips away every scrap of extraneous material and goes as fast as humanly possible
Including the 3 energy required for the attack, if the player puts merely 2 Fairy energies on each of their 5 benched Pokemon and then mega-evolves Gardevoir, they can do close to 400 damage with no negative secondary effects
At the very least this will see a lot of sideboard play, but it could very easily make main decks too depending on how the format shakes up
