The set will contain four Commander decks designed to be played with the popular Magic: The Gathering format which sees players using 100-card decks and selecting a legendary creature to serve as their leader
The planetary space-ic basic lands shown above feature the galaxy foil treatment, but many more cards across the set can show off this new foil treatmentincluding borderless shock lands in Collector Boosters, both showcase styles of full-art basic lands, and many other cards across the set
However, in most cases, a 40-card deck will provide more consistency in drawing your best cards, and I would prefer that over a diluted 60-card configuration
Set to launch this June, Magics Final Fantasy crossover will be a fully draftable, Standard-legal set accompanied by the four preconstructed decks in the gallery above
I also endeavored to keep the power level from peaking too high, forgoing the likes of Collector Ouphe, Smothering Tithe, Sylvan Library and tutors like Enlightened Tutor
