The new Vanish ability states that "when an opponent chooses this character for an action, banish them." This appears to be a negative keyword, although it likely syncs with cards that take advantage of friendly cards being banished
In any deck with non-Angel creatures this one is kinda cracked, but do keep in mind: you want more than 30 creatures, lots of EtBs, and plenty of self-sacrifice or sacrifice outlets to truly rinse this card for all it is worth
Bide your time or use proliferate effects to amass some chorus counters on Malcolm, and youll be on your way to casting free spells whenever you connect for damage
Getting duplicates of any creature that arrives on the battlefield is awesome
If a creature has +1/+1 counters and -1/-1 counters on it, state-based actions remove the same number of each so that it has only one kind of those counters on it
