However, it is sad to see the GX go, and it seems a good a time as any to go back and look at the best GX cards of the Sun and Moon era of the card game
Dragon Cultist fits well in Dragon decks since a Dragon will often be able to deal five or more damage each turn, but you can also use it for value in a red deck that can just dish out a large amount of damage, like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell or Obosh, the Preypiercer
Basically a single-target and repeatable Fog, I can see Singing Tree being a great lock-down card back in 1993 when folks usually only had one threatening creature at a time, and it was only a threat because it could deal combat damage
However, Shimmer Dragon could still see play in the right artifact-heavy deck looking for a resilient finisher with card advantage
