Some characters gain unique abilities when they are at locations: although Im sure were going to be getting way more info about how characters and locations are going to be interacting in Into the Inklands, for now we just have to take whats been revealed so far and Ravensburgers word for it that somehow locations and characters are going to have beneficial gameplay mechanics for our decks
When you place the cards in a 23 grid, they form a panoramic sceneusually a major moment from a crossover universe (like a dramatic battle or story climax)
Like I said they add a lot of depth and nuance to the list, but since I'm upgrading for power they are simply not as strong as the main gameplan
