This is a 100 card, Commander gruul (red/green) werewolf deck

Its not a terrible card, especially for its time

you want to be able to respond to your opponents threats

It does go up in value in decks that have lifegain synergies (Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Karlov of the Ghost Council, for example)

Rad counters do trigger Gonti's Machinations and Exquisite Blood, but not Sower of Discord
