The decks are genuinely a ton of fun to play, but thats not the only reason theyre so great to play with
Red can easily generate mana advantage as well, be it through bursty rituals (Irencrag Feat), treasure tokens (Dockside Extortionist), free spell/polymorph effects (Fires of Invention, Tibalts Trickery), or the occasional outright mana dork/discounter/mana multiplier (Leyline Tyrant, Mana Echoes)
Theres a little something for every power level and strategy, not to mention some new archetypes opened wide
It remains to be seen if the game will be able to stand up to such titans as Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, and Magic The Gathering, though, and whether it has legs in a competitive scene

Spined Thopter 3/10 Although this ticks a lot of the right boxes (no need of colour to play, an artifact, an evasive body) it is still a very underwhelming two drop with very low power level
