Breaking the mechanic has been a significant strategy in a number of combo decks over the years, making it a hallmark of Birthing Pod decks
Pauper's sped up a lot in the last couple years, and at this point, I simply don't know that this kind of card can compete

Theres no guarantee youll be out of the situation youre in when you cast it, as the tail end of the card is completely random
When its summoned, you can banish 1 card each from your opponents hand, field, and graveyard
It does seem like there is plenty of design space here, so this may be a card to watch in the future
