In the later stages of the game, your opponents won't have mana to re-cast anything most of the time, forcing them to discard much of their newly bounced cards to the graveyard and lose access to them

These spells and abilities allow you to deal with your opponents' early game threats while you build your shrine army, accelerate to more quickly play your shrine army, and card draw allows you to keep pressure on your opponent as you get to the mid to late game
