Discarding cards to draw is a big part of how red draws cards, and making the cost more forgiving is something Im always happy to see

Though a lot of them are confined to the archetypes they bring to the table, many can be used elsewhere

Much like Red/Green ended up as a generic midrange archetype, Red/White feels like a generic aggro archetype with only a minor focus on tokens and flooding the board with creatures

Obviously, this card isnt on the level of Bonecrusher Giant, but Bonecrusher still showcases the value of attaching a subpar removal spell onto a decent threat

Affinity was known but for some reason the metagame shifted away from being able to deal with it
