He pairs quite well with that Islands I Pulled From The Sea card as displayed in the starter decks for this set, particularly as he is likely to stay on the board for a while

It has solid stats as well while being relatively easy to cast (especially thanks to how easy it is to generate mana )

This is obviously a super random card, but I think it will do what you want often enough to be worth playing For Limited, this might be the best card in the cycle

Kodama is one of those innocuous cards that doesn't look like much, but in the right deck, well, it can get out of hand pretty quickly
