Dont underestimate not having to ask everyone if they pay at the table, for every spell
For starters, it's quite hard for opponents to get rid of Sensei's Divining Top once you play it, given its built-in tuck myself into the library ability

One other commander that I considered was the Partnered pair of Anara, Wolvid Familiar and Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful, and while those two certainly succeed in the flavor department, they simply dont synergize well with the rest of the deck
