These old cards are highly collectible and have an awesome nostalgic feel to them, regardless of how playable they are
You put a creature on the battlefield for free and then double the number of counters on a creature you control twice
+1/+1 counter decks love Shalai, but so do Enchantress decks, Angel tribal, and hatebear-heavy builds
Overall, Im not sure which version of white-based magecraft aggro is best, but it seems to me like there are enough ways of building the decks and enough potential in the card combinations that Im going to spend some more time figuring them out
