And create your own powerful character from the ground up with the return of Commander Draft
Either way, it shuts down a lot of the biggest threats you'll face, from scary creatures to even scarier planeswalkers - and all for two mana
More than one protection leaves the creature vulnerable to so few spells
Every time I look at this card, my brain tells me its called Megatrons Fate. I love this cards flexibility, and each effect is solid for the six-mana investment either you destroy the biggest artifact threat on the table and get two-thirds of the mana you invested back in Treasure tokens, or you very likely kill all creatures on the battlefield (outside of Brash Taunter, at least) and each player gets four rad counters, which may or may not be of interest to your deck
The true potential is unlocked upon transformation, where it morphs into a potent mana rock that can add a substantial amount of colored mana to your pool each turn based on the number of permanent cards in your graveyard
If you want to play a lot of basic lands, I seriously would suggest building a deck that only runs one or two colors
